By designing customised splints we protect the teeth from chronic wear and tear, and prevent and avoid chronic degeneration of the joint. By distributing the occlusal forces (the bite contacts) the musculature is relaxed and the optimal range of muscular movement is restored.

In most cases, it relieves muscle contraction and tension in the neck and provides relief from headaches and earaches.

In addition, it dissipates joint inflammation, protects teeth from wear and tear and protects the surrounding tissues from recession and abfractions.

How long does it take to make a splint?

Depends on the individual case. At least a total of 4 appointments. It is a relaxation process and requires a gradual adjustment of the splint to each individual mouth.

Does the treatment eliminate pain?

Yes, whether the cause is muscular or inflammatory, the joint can be rehabilitated and the pain eliminated.

Is the treatment painful?

Painless. It is a little uncomfortable the first day the splint is applied. After getting used to it, it does not cause any discomfort.

How much does a splint cost?

Depends on the type of splint. The most common (used at night) €350 + €80 per fitting.
